Staying here felt like stepping into a storybook, with the iconic Plonlein just a few steps away and the stunning medieval walls only a short walk at 500 meters, making it easy to immerse myself in Rothenburg's rich history during my weekend getaway.

The steep, windy road to the parking lot was daunting and stressful, especially for someone not used to driving in such conditions. The lack of clarity in directions to the reception area added to my frustration upon arrival. The bathroom in my room was disappointingly small, and the absence of a manual lock on the inside of the door made me feel a bit insecure.

The location near the old town offers a beautiful backdrop with romantic views. Breakfast featured homemade items, including delicious vegetarian couscous and their own honey, which added a special touch. However, navigating the numerous steps to the town became a significant hassle, especially since the entrance on the higher floors didn’t allow re-entry at the same level. Additionally, the presence of a religious symbol in the room felt intrusive rather than welcoming.

Can just recommend for a brief hiatus.

Pleasant environment, spacious room, with convenient access to hiking trails nearby for exploration, along with a lovely breakfast in a scenic setting with friendly staff and complimentary bottled water provided in the room.

Staying at Wildbad Rothenburg felt like living in a castle, with stunning views from our large room. The hidden ballroom-style breakfast room amazed us, and we enjoyed the serene wooded grounds surrounding the hotel.
